1. 🏔️ Magmatism and Tibetan Plateau Formation
Led by Prof. Di-Cheng Zhu, this group investigates the magmatic processes associated with the growth and evolution of the Tibetan Plateau, integrating petrology, geochemistry, geochronology, and geodynamics.
2. 🧠 Deep Thinking Lab
Led by Associate Prof. Ze Liu, the Deep Thinking Lab develops computational and data-driven approaches to geological problems — including high-throughput geochemical data processing, machine learning applications, and automated geochronology workflows.

3. 🔬 MILMA — Mineral Laser Microprobe Analysis Laboratory
The MILMA lab at CUGB provides state-of-the-art in-situ microanalytical facilities for mineral characterization, including LA-ICP-MS for trace element and isotopic analysis.
